elimae

My flash fiction story Rooftop Dreams is up in the May issue of elimae. You can read it here.

I'm very excited to have my work appear in elimae. I'd like to thank the fiction editor, Kim Chinquee for including the story and for her encouraging words in our brief correspondence. She's not only the editor but also an amazing writer whose work is everywhere, so it really meant a lot.

  9. Excellent stuff Hunter, congratulations on being published. This is a brilliant display of power to be able to say so much with so few words; a salutary lesson to many of us, I suspect.

Hi, Melissa. Glad you liked this one. The novel is coming along nicely. It's getting almost all of my writing attention these days, and I hope to have the first (very) rough draft done in about a month. Then there will be a lot of sussing out what works, so I can begin the real work of rewriting.
